Running around all the Obama threads. Principles are a sign of character so best of luck.
Candidates don't write speeches during elections for two reasons.
1. It is a very specialised skill much like say comedy writing.
2. They don't have the time. They smile, kiss babies and try to remember everybody's name.
Oh and they wear radio mikes during debates. I don't mind that because they have a lot to remember. I remember Bush telling the voice in his ear to shut up during a debate in 04!
All the world's a stage so play on.
