After I posted my thread, I went into the restroom here at work and sent out my love to the people of this planet who are suffering this moment. I felt an intense wave of energy leave from my chest and forehead. I filled it with my love and care and although it did not make me "feel better" it did give me a sense of relief to share my love with others.
