oh, topper, you play the game so well.
if you truly believe what you write, you're failing to see what history has shown us time & again. expansive societies eventually implode on themselves. things get too comfortable and too complicated at the same time, & human nature spoils the party.
we're at the point where human nature changes or we repeat the drama again.
this whole political football is just a symptom, the root is still not being acknowledged.
