my take

if you are in a car traveling 100mph and there is a brick wall a mile ahead of you. Is it fear mongering to point it out to the driver?

even if you just "think" you see it? If the newsman on the radio is announcing it....is he spreading fear?

see it how you will but "information" is NOT positive or negative

we each grant these properties through our own perceptions

so some may see negatively because it scares them, while others simply choose to be informed

It isn't that I am endorsing this post in anyway, I just hate to see all the condemnation against people who address information that others find "scary" and are then labeled negatively
