thanks for that merlyn & jaguar.

this site gives the same readout as the one recommended by merlyn, but it's a bit more tricky to read; you get the symbols first, then have to go back to the
[rather nicely done] calendar and click on the symbol and line/dot you've been given. it also gives you the next time that 'day' occurs in 'time' ie your tzolkin birthday. eg mine's next year.
thing is, you don't get a neat name and a poem!

And I just watched this really interesting film about the Maya and what they're planning to do to and how things are looking.
