The link above does the Jose Arguelles version of the Mayan calendar
and does NOT use the Traditional daycount of the Mayan Elders.

In Traditional Mayan Daycount:

October 30, 2008 would be:
Longcount: 12.19.15.14.7 (12 Man'ik)

December 21, 2012 would be:
Longcount: 13.0.0.0.0 (4 Ahau)
