And when personal Kharma [action] has been identified and the responsibility for living lives which are faithful to actions the Soul MUST fulfil is accepted then the Pathway to heaven is paved by Dharma! Kharma is simply the Actions the Soul is impelled to take as part of the spiritual development of its Being. Dharma is the Duty the Soul has chosen in order to be of service to other Beings in our World. It is my feeling that Kharma as a concept has been understood and embraced to a far fuller extent here in the West than the less romantic concept of the duties Dharma generates which allow us to sustain human community!
One means I have found to identify both the Kharmic and Dharmic streams in a Soul and ways these can be lived to the full is esoteric astrology. This ancient wisdom has survived the vicissitudes of human history for thousands of years and in my view deserves to be more fully explored by those of us who wish to enhance our own life as well as offering a gentle helping hand to others along the road, which most of us appreciate at one Time or another! Dharma = dutiful service. The Wounded Healer often possesses very testing Dharma in the Soul and the more this Healer works to heal the wounds of others, the better the Healer can salve their own injury.
