Don't forget that if a angry protest is met by a military or police force all it takes is one shot to be fired, people panic and all hell could break loose, doesn't matter if there are family men involved, if they are fired on they will return fire.
America is very multi cultural so all you need is a bit of racism added and you have all the fuel needed to start a war.
