Exactly. Fight their hatred using love, not hatred.
Even if they have to grow up in prison, then so be it. It is possible for criminals to reform if the will to reform is there.
And, I believe the story was delayed because maybe the Secret Service had to make sure that they had the loose-ends wrapped up before allowing it to be reported?
