GregorA....your opening paragraph strikes a chord with me
When the 2012 thing dropped in my lap, I began investigating it via the internet and in books. I was astounded by the number of theories, channellings and beliefs that existed. Clearly, not all of them can apply - each one appeared to contradict the other.
Many years ago I was directed to a conclusion which may be relevant to what is happening today. If we were given insight into every step along the way or told the outcomes of every experience we encounter, then those giving us this information would not be acting in a moral way. To provide all the answers is to be live our lives for us when it is very necessary for us to do this all by ourselves.
It's a bit like having your parents make every decision for you - how would you every have the tools to cope by yourself? You need all experiences - be they good or bad. You cannot have the answers to every dilemma given to you on a plate. There is no learning value in that and so, no personal growth.
So perhaps we either have mischevious/negative energies influencing us, or perhaps we have some decent ones who are telling us that we have to find our own answers - they cannot lead our lives for us as it is unfair and unhelpful to do so
