I won't ask you to keep responding or I'll wear out my welcome
But I do think it is entirely possible to have faith, humility and a willingness to understand the 'plan', without prescribing to a particular faith. Children, for example, cannot fathom a plan of any sort (although they may inherit a belief system) but I cannot imagine a loving God being so judgemental
For one thing, judgement is kind of at odds with the notion of the prodigal son parable.
