Re: Abandoned pets.
There was a news article this week about the number of Chihuahuas being dumped at the Santa Barbara Pet shelter. That says a lot about the owners who went to get the latest Fad Dog that Paris and the bunch were toting around for photo ops. Santa Barbara is not your normal town, lived there for a few years in the distant past, if there was a place in SB where you could dump your spouse or kids, they would do that too. The news article lists the numbers, so don't flame me for mentioning it.
Mizar and Mrs. Mizar collect abandoned pets on our 1/4 acre property, all are cared for until they demise naturally, we pay all vet bills and accept all, so we walk the walk ( daily)
our emergency kit contains as many pet supplies as human supplies.
