My take on what is happening is based on the following premise. There are two factions vying for control of the U.S. One is the Neocon/Bush machine and their objective is to bring Nazi-like tyranny. Fear on the part of the citizenery is their friend. UFO information from this faction tends to emphasize the doom and gloom fear factor to make it easier to reel in our freedoms. The other faction, ostensibly from the Rockefeller side of big money, has broken away from the number one faction and wants there to be freedom, but under the control of the big corporations, so you can spend your life working for them. The UFO information that comes from this camp in a little more benign and emphasizes the technological breakthroughs that will benefit corporate America. Neither faction wears a white hat. One decidedly black, and the other a shade of grey. I tend to doubt any (dis)information about aliens/UFOs that present a bleak or world-dominating scenario. As has been said by many before, any alien civilization that was technically advanced and malevolent toward us, would have kicked our stupid butts a long time ago.
