I don't think Phil's preaching any more than those who insist on the whole co-creator stuff. If fact, just yesterday I saw a long preachy post stickied just because it was full of (ugh)we're all god(/ugh) stuff.

Now we have one of our reptillian captors speaking on an internet forum and some here are acting like it's the new Gospel of the ages.
