I've seen contrails in southern Indiana, but I've seen nothing to convince me that they were anything other normal contrails. The characteristics of the contrails change with atmospheric conditions as one would expect.
Without proper measuring equipment, I don't see how anyone can be certain that what they are seeing is anything other than the normal result of jet fuel combustion (water vapor, CO2, NOx, etc). Rampant speculation just leads to more fear. Perhaps generating fear is the point of all of this.
I could be convinced that something nefarious is going on, but so far the quality of "evidence" on the internet is pretty poor. Heaping piles of BS prove nothing, regardless of how deep the pile is.
