we will see in this session of parliament what spp-inspired legislation is put forth. i expect bill c51 and c52 to resurface, but i also expect government departments to continue to deregulate industry, right in line with the spp 'free market' values. however, america's bankruptcy doesnt necessarily mean we wont align ourselves with them, i think were still going to see attempts at 'harmonization' of policy.
i am glad that canadas banking system is currently rated #1 in the world, since it means we have no reason to abandon the canadian dollar for the amero, or worse, a global currency.
