The faraday cage blocks all kinds of radio freguencies, when I worked at Motorola we all sat in our little cages to block each others transmissions, I worked on pagers and cell phones, the guy in front of me worked on cell phones, the guy behind me worked on mobile radios(police,fire,rescue,and such). There were 8 of us in all and we each had our booths with heavy metal doors too. The cages were to block each others transmissions from our frequency generators that we used for repairs and testing. I don't know if they block heat seeking stuff or not.
