Default Re: any one willing to stay in the heat zone?

It seems for those us who will stay here, we need different plans, and for those who leave most of their critical action has to be done before the event starts, but those who will stay behind will have to take critical action after the event starts or 24 to 48 hours before the event starts.
May be I should make separate post for those who will stay behind or will be left behind, and perhaps I will.
But first I will write some here and see how it goes from here.

It seems for those who will be in northern hemisphere, we would need, firstly safe havens in northern hemisphere for survivors to gather, for it gives sense of goal and hope to live for and gives a direction to go, as you know “no wind favors a sailor with no directions”. Therefore may be we need to think of creating safe havens on northern hemisphere that is:
300m above of the sea level
Not near any volcano, earth quake zone or any where that could be heavily affected by polar shift.
Far away from any major cities (hidden if possible, which means not really approachable by land vehicles)
And has bases of all civilizations, water and good soil.
By the way this safe haven does not need to be a settlement, all we need is a location where all of the above or more conditions qualify.
Also knowing other safe havens near by may be a good idea incase the one near you has an issue or incase of any other reason of migration.

Next step should be creating small local communities to start rallying at some safe local point and start heading to the safe haven. Perhaps, rally at a local nuclear hide out to hide until 2 weeks after initial blast from a nuclear weapons.

These can be done here, and I suggest we get them done fast, if we plan to.
For safe havens I was thinking of national parks… mostly because, no one lives there and it’s probably the cleanest area around. However I think, it would be illegal to live there…

The rest is individual plan, like finding routes to the safe area, or escaping the quarantined area, so on.

any other suggestion?
