I just wanted to recommend this 3-book set to those that have an interest in how American history was molded and enjoy detective stories. Quick synopsis:

Peter Levenda's research into the occult links to the Nazis lead him to so much information that he had to divide it amongst 4 books - Unholy Alliance and then his 3-books "Sinister Forces: A Grimoire of American Political Witchcraft" (The Nine, A Warm Gun and The Manson Secret).

All three books grew from Levenda's curiosity into "The Manson Secret". The spiderweb he unveils is beyond mind-boggling.

(You do not necessarily need to read Unholy Alliance first)
