I don't see anything wrong with that. The face value of a currency is always higher than the material it's made of. How much does it cost to print a 1000 Swiss Franc banknote? Or a fifty dollar bill? Or a 1 pound coin? Do we have 2 pound coins yet?
Also you need to take into consideration how many Ameros = 1 US$
