Try not to worry about the cigarette thing - I have been smoking for 40 years and over the last few it has been increasing, you can imagine why. I cannot really meditate and as far as chakras are concerned - oh boy, forget that with me. You will not get left behind believe me in that - you just wont. Cant tell you why I know this - I just know - absolutely sure. I know I can take a microsecond to check with my soul and it tells me the truth of a thing, I know I can do that easily enough. So do that. You will not get left behind. Just because you cannot do these type of things doesnt mean you will be left anywhere. You will be fine.
