I'm in Ottawa, Canada's capital, and I am also preparing for something. I love the line LaRosa said: "Prepare for the worst but hope for the best"
I doubt that canadians would blindly accept a rolling of economies with the US and Mexico. The general opinion I've heard talking to people is that we feel the US government is corrupt and that their economy is awful with trillions in foreign debts and the illusion of a two party system. As for Mexico, we regard them as a 3rd world country and great place to vacation for cheap margaritas!

Why would any intelligent canadian accept to merge our economy with these two countries when we've been having budget surpluses year after year lately?
The only way I can see the general people of Canada accepting this is:
1- If / when the US economy goes bankrupt, we will also be hit very hard.
2- If another false flag event happens on canadian soil that would affect North America as a whole.
I guess this goes back to the topic of the OP, if something happens in Montreal (or elsewhere) that would warrant martial law in both countries.
