I for one am amazed at HPH forecasts. I think it has played out nicely. Pertaining to the Unwanted Guest, I think the following news article may explain at least one of it:

Can you imagine the room going to an awkward silence with the thought of "Who invited him" going through the attendees heads.

He would be an unwelcomed guest to me.
