Oh, hello unloadedgun, we meet again - a book you may be interested in on this topic is "Path of the Pole" by Charles Hapgood. It covers all aspects of the result of such a thing happening. Also as an interesting companion book, try to get hold of his "Maps of the Ancient Sea Kings." This is a real eye opener and proof that Columbus was aware of where he was going because he had maps that were old in his time.
