I think when the Dow went -800 on the 7th the "release language" begun. The mood has been much different since then. Theres a sense of hoplessness. The weather event might be that very large "life-threatening" (BBC Quote) hurricane off the coast of mexico. Lots of other stuff too, like Palins power abuse scandal and North Korea being taken off the "terror" axis list. Strange events indeed.
