This happened to me last night, before I went to sleep, I had forgotten about it til I saw this thread.
It was like a small brief flash of white on the wall in the left corner of my eye.

I was puzzled for a moment, since I had never seen anything like that, it was different to the black splotches you sometimes notice in your blind spots.

Maybe it's just the mind playing tricks, but I'll look out for it again.
