I agree with your initial instinct that B&K have been 'silent' for what seems like a long time. I had the same feeling, but then remembered that Avalon is not PC. Avalon is the like the wild west of the PC landscape. As far as something happening, I would imagine they are overwhelmed by the range of thought produced in this site and wondering how to handle it, as it is their creation. Most people that fall into digital social networking tools, love the idea, can envision benefits etc, but never really know how involved it is until they are in it.

They will probably have to communicate to the group, and individually differently, probably trying to work that out, this is what i liked about PC, somewhat raw, straight reporting --- you need a team to run something like this and/or a fine tuned community ... it can be done. I was not sure how I felt when the site first went up, saw some really good posts and thought hey ... then, whamo, it went off in all directions ... more interesting than good, now less interesting and painful to get to those good posts. -- Just my opinion of course. My time in Avalon is probably collapsing in one sense, but not PC. I will check their for B&K's info.
