Default Re: Where to buy Gold

I have dealt with 4 different online companies for gold and silver. The key is to check their website multiple times a day as the availability can change rapidly. Here is a run-down of my experiences:

Gainsvillecoin - purchase made over the phone, was reliable and shipped the coins the day after receiving my bank wire. Price + spot was competative with other online vendors. Ships via USPS Registered Mail. Reliable

Tulving - purchase made over the phone. Purchased on a Friday with bank wire, product shipped the following Monday and received on Tuesday. Hannes, the owner, is quite busy and not very personable on the phone (don't call him and expect to talk for 10 minutes) expect a quick transaction. Excellent

California Numesmatics Inc (CNI) - purchase was made over the phone. Salesman was personable. Made the purchase on a Friday, they received the bank wire the following Monday 9/29. Called on 10/1 and he said order would ship that evening. Called again on 10/6 and he said they were busy and the order would ship that evening (I am now very ******-off and told him). I can only assume that the order has gone out but will call them again today to confirm. They ship via USPS Registered Mail. Questionable

AMPEX - Placed order over the internet on 9/30 and sent bank wire same day. Got confirmation of payment on 10/1 and confirmation of shipment on 10/3. They ship via USPS Registered Mail. Good

Northwest Territories (NWT) - I do not have any firsthand experience but in researching companies on the internet I found that there were many complaints from people about NWT. My suggestion is if you live nearby, then you can pick up your order otherwise waiting for a month is unacceptable.

Wishing everyone the best.

Peace
