Yes, I would have prefered that. The PTB tell me not to panic too, and I choose to decide for myself, not let others choose for me. Twist your words? Please explain. Me thinks you sound a bit paranoid.
If you send an email as forum_admin to the entire list, you speak for and as the PTB. Doing so, to me, speaks with the full authority of B&K. Either you should be more careful, or they should !!!!- if your broadcast was personal and not sanctioned. If someone did that on my forum, they would no longer have admin rights. Spamming the membership with personal opinion has consequence - and should only be done with admin agreement.
The only panic I saw was the email.
