I specifically tried with the candle focusing and that ties in with your reply Patrick that the focus becomes a spot between your physical eyes to meditate upon when you close them(physical eyes).
My question is what kind of Electro magnetic force can one use that is safe yet accessible? Do crystals work or magnetized hematite or what?Should they be placed around one's head or around one's body? Or is there something else? A pyramid frame to sit inside of??(Of course I would specifically place safety barriors around me before going into this state.)

www.roshi.com sells neurobiofeedback equipment to various practioners. They have a small portable unit (I have 2) which has magetic stimulation glasses that sends magnetic pulses to the pineal gland. The link is so you can look around and see what they look like. These glasses can aslo be put on other areas of the head, not just worn over the eyes, to stimulate other areas of the brain as well.
