Notice that the leaders that were targeted by the economic hitmen were all SOCIALIZING the resources of the country, including the leaders of Iran, Guatemala and most recently Venezuela. In the case of Chavez, the results of this socialization has been a boon to the people and has made him a target for several assasination attempts and a massive attack from the US media. Concurrent to the socialization of the country's resources, is the creation of a new bank, outside the IMF and the World Bank, is working on a massive literacy project and has traded oil for doctors with the Cuban government. Recently Chavez laughed at the problems of the US monetary system. Venezuela is doing just fine. He is doing precisely what these people suggest, so it is curious that the writers of this documentary have not identified Venezuela as a source of optimism.
