Ok. So ... have you made your mind up?
Just for kicks let's say you hear on the news that there are missiles ready to strike your town at any moment and war is definitely a reality. Will you move or still feel you have a duty to stay and die?
It is my opinion that deciding to stay where you are now is close minded.
I, personally, will stay open and see where things go.
I will make a decision based on my current reality at that time.
I will also prepare according to what is happening right now and adjust with that as time moves forward.
Just my take on this.
