Hey Crew, this is Kimmie,

Welcome new Member, Shofixi...your member #32. I know it's short notice, yet I'm hoping you can join us for the meeting on Sunday evening-this will be our first.

NOTICE:
TWO DAYS UNTIL THE SOUTHWEST FLORIDA GROUND CREW HAS IT'S FIRST MEETING. This first meeting will be in Tampa, and is being hosted by Pharaoh.

Southwest Florida runs from Tampa-Naples, including Bradenton, St. Pete, Sarasota, Venice, Port Charlotte, Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and Naples. We will rotate the meetings from one location to another to be fair to all members in our area.

PHARAOH has suggested the "SOUTHWEST FLORIDA GROUND CREW" adopt the color ORANGE as our official color..I think that's a great idea so from now on I will be posting anything I write to members of the SWFGC-SOUTHWEST FLORIDA GROUND CREW-in orange. If you want to start the same habit- it is the second color-on the second row of the color chart -when you click on it shows up as [COLOR="Dark Orange"]. As the group grows it will help us to read through the postings and identify things written to membeRs of one area or another faster. ********************************************

WATCHMAN111, how'd you know I was a Ray's fan? Last year we bought a block of tickets and went to a bunch of games. I hope you'll be at the meeting on sunday...we'll have to make some plans to meetup at a game sometime!!

SEVA You can read through the posts on this forum to find out who is from the Dade-Broward area. Dundun305, posted that he was from Miami and wanted to get a group together, so you should write to him.

Dundun, I did see that you had posted for a meeting, and I had hoped the others in your area would respond to your offer to organize it. Have you read through the other postings and written to the other members in your area. I had hoped ya'll could get your group organized over there. I'll put together a list (on a seperate post) of which members are in what parts of the state.

SteveTPA Thanks for offering to take notes at the meeting on Sunday. I'll be taking notes also, I always do...I'm a "detail person" by nature. Actually I'll be disappointed if everyone doesn't show up with paper and pen- we'll see who is really serious about the purpose of this meeting, and who's just looking to "hang out".

Well crew, I hope ya'll have a great day...It's FRIDAY!! Yeah... I love the weekends... when my husband it off work. We start our day at 3:30am on weekdays... so sleeping until 7/8 on the weekend is something I look forward to. We're still newlyweds, so I'm still getting used to the schedule...! To tell you the truth, I thought only Dairy Farmers got up this early ..you know to milk the cows!! When we first got married I told people I was a dairy farmers wife...no women in her right mind would marry a man that gets up at 3 in the morning, heck to me that's still the middle of the night. You'll know who I am when you meet me, I'll be the one with the circles around my eyes!
