Good to see you V. I recall some other stories about this. I think my favorite is a bit different because it had to do with a portal so I doubt a stargate was involved. As the story goes, a young man was just laying out in a field enjoying the day when an round circle opened in the area above him and someone leaned out to look around. Spotting said young man looking at him the visitor was quite surprised and shut the opening. Who knows where it was from or what it was, but I've thought the tale charming.
