I also work with old stuff I ripped out of things and found somewhere on fleemarkets.
I don't believe all the copper and the wiring is nessecary.
As far as I can see that is again a way to try to get around it by transforming magnetism into electricity and back but by transforming the energy you always loose energy.
I think the secret lays into the phenomenon itself.
As soon as it works, turns, moves by itself then the wiring comes in to transform the movement into electricity we can use to do other things or maybe even that isn't nessecary anymore when we realy understand it.
I find it hard to think outside bounderies if you know what I mean.
