Sure. But it is a bit more trouble than what you'd think. If you are on Cable, or DSL, they can track you down to the location of your provider's server (the one you're hooked up to), but to go farther than that, they need access to logs and such, and that means they leave a trail, too.

Any registered user can see whatever you have on your profile. How much is there, and how much you reveal in your posts, you'll have to decide for yourself.

On the upside, there being hundreds of thousands of these forums online, should keep them busy, until events run right over their silly plans anyway.
