I bought a copy of Talbot's book about 6 or 7 years ago, and started reading it. Very cool stuff, really. Before I could finish it a physicist friend conned me into loaning it to him. I did learn a couple things though:
1. Finish THEN loan.
2. Physicists is tricky.

I first read this on the Web back in '91. It was one of two articles that first peaked my interest in the Web as a communications media. I always kept a copy of it on the websites I've had. Sentimental, I guess
