I'm sure I'll get derided for being negative here...But I have a few questions.

From what I understand, Larry Nichols was a mid-level DC insider during the Clinton administration. Now he has a radio show on 'blog talk radio'.

How, prey tell, does he have the power to bring down members of congress? Do congressional representatives fear this person?

The benefactors of the now multi-TRILLION dollar bailout have the power to make congress and the senate bend over backwards and evidently hold sway over the President. Case in point - when they received public backlash (unexpectedly?) regarding their cash grab, they more or less ordered congress to stop talking to the press and continue their negotiations behind closed doors.

While I applaud Mr. Nichols stance on the issue, I wouldn't exactly think of him as a 'big club'. Does he have some tremendous amount of power that I am unaware of?

I emailed my congressman last week and told him that if he votes for the package, I will not vote for him. If there is more that I can do, I will do it. But I have to question Mr. Nichols' credentials on this one.
