Doing a new batch this evening and using unsalted butter. Thought Id post a little trick I came up with to make things easier. I took the lids off the jars and kept them in the box and put a sheet of aluminum foil over them and poked holes in the tops so as to protect rims and put the whole thing in the oven since it only has to get to 250 degrees f . heres a pic to show you. after you poor them full carefully remove foil and place lids on and let them cool then place in refrigerator.
