Re: for ground crew NOT moving anywhere
Thanks again Kyle for starting this thread -- it is definitely a topic that has been overshadowed by the more zealous, fear-based ideas of fleeing to allegedly "safe" areas.
As I've been hashing this topic around in my mind, something occurred to me: Let's imagine, for just a moment, that the worst case scenario DOES happen in the near future, whether it's a natural disaster or a man-made event --- what would The Powers That Be want the surviving people to do? I venture to say that they would actually WANT us to leave our homes, to travel long distances to join others in large groups in concentrated geographical areas. Why? Because we would be easier to pick off, round up for camps and/or simply kill. If surviving people chose to stay where they are (assuming their homes are still in tact, of course), they would be much more difficult to locate and control. Personally, I would think that the idea of people peppered throughout all of the planet, living in their homes or, at the very least, on land they are familiar with, hunkered down (and possibly armed), eating from their home-grown gardens, drinking purified water, etc, etc, would be a worst case scenario for THEM, for The Powers That Be.
After reading these posts and with all of the research I have done in the past year, it always seems to come down to one thing: personal responsibility. So, in my opinion, staying where we are, learning how to not only survive, but flourish, in a new, balanced and natural way would be the ultimate "rebellion," instead of running scared and hoping that someone ELSE will "save" us.
