I actually came across it in college when I was planning on taking MDMA one weekend and looked up what I could do to minimize any harmful effects it would have on me. One suggestion (among many, many others) was to start taking 5-HTP after the comedown to jump-start your brain to start replenishing the massive amount of seretonin that was depleted the night/morning before. I avoided burning myself out like others around me, and continued taking it (the 5-HTP that is, not the MDMA), and as a result I'm now... well, stable.

Altough i know that many people who havent taken extacy suffer from depression, im aware that 75% of this is caused be an Omega3 Defficiancy.
I on the other hand suffer from depression that can be fixed by no amount of fish oil because when i was younger i went overboard on xtc. Every weekend for about two years.
I'm gonna check that stuff out and see if it helps some.
