I think things are constantly happening that are bad or seedy or astonishing, whether you become aware is another question. Look at what is going on in Canada...that is just a bit shady to me. Wamu is now under bankruptcy probation...that is a little unnerving. Depending upon where you live and what you read of course something is going to "happen". Cern should make for an interesting end result come October. It all depends upon what you find to be "big" news. It will no doubt be different for everyone.
