Hello everyone who has, so far, written in this thread. It seems that just as PABLO has offered this idea of freedom on the net there is a counter force emerging. I was listening to Alex Jones last night and he reviewed the new Cyber Security Act (US). It's an exteemly! HEAVY!!, clamp-down on everything we so far take for granted about the internet.
I advise all of you to get your eyes on a copy/screenful of the proposed act ( it's only about 50 pages) and read it to yourself and to everyone you know.
If this Act is passed into law, we are all in serious cyber trouble. It even proposes to 'licence' approved software ( and ban unapproved software ).
The general jist of it is that the net will be under full control of the intel/military establishment.
