I don't recall ever meeting Laura Eisenhower. But I can tell you this after reading this article it looks like there was much more reason to close Ike's college than the cited low student enrollment and money problems back then in 1982 when the college was closed. 75 million of them to be exact. (That's what I was told the college had in assets at the time.)

I can also surmise from this article, Susan Eisenhower also had been threatened by agents at one time as well as her former husband although I cannot prove it or will ever be able to prove it. It is only a good educated guess because she was at that time rubbing elbows with people affiliated with the shadow government, too. Although I'm sure she didn't know it at the time. Nobody did. But that, too, is something that will never be proven. Only surmised from the 1991 articles by Jennifer Hyman, some of which I posted on other threads here. Susan later divorced her then husband and married a Russian a couple of years later. She wrote a book about her finding true love, but I never swallowed that story hook, line and sinker then, and I don't swallow it now.

The only thing I can come up with from my experiences then was that someone wanted to obliterate Ike's good deeds and presidency from the history books. And his winning world war II for us from the evil that prevailed at the time.

(And now the History Channel continues on with the story of the Fourth Reich and how that is rapidly gaining ground. So Ike didn't really win us anything, did he?)

This man was a good and decent man and his wife was a sweetheart. I am heartbroken the powers that be did this to his legacy. But nothing was ever done to rectify it.

Now the powers that be want to put a memorial up in his name in Washington, DC. probably to assuage their consciences. He already had a memorial to honor his name. These clowns stole it right out from under him after his widow died. (Or should I say graverobbed Ike. I'll probably get sued now, but it is my opinion--and right to say it because that's what I still believe and have always believed.)

This article finally tells me why they did it--when everyone else was telling us something entirely different. As usual, as in all stories, it was for the money, stupid! They did it to do it. He was close friend with Nelson A. Rockefeller, if you will recall. And Gerald Ford. That could have been the catalyst. We'll never really know the whole story unfortunately. Whatever was out there that might have been able to shed light on the story, they, too, are now gone. Dead and buried along with what they knew and all that's left now are the boxes of pictures and papers of our time at Ike's college.

I hope Laura stays safe now that she has exposed what she has and it will not harm her in any way.

Sorry for the soapbox speech guys. But it's something that had to be said.
