DJ - you've put my feelings into words exactly! The disconnected feeling is a challenge for me too & everytime I meet someone who is starting to "see" - there is a sense of comfort. Thanks too for the reply re: the desire "save the world" - i've been going down that road too...very bumpy especially when those closest to me - aren't seeing the big picture.
I'm in the southern hemisphere - appear to be only a very few looking at the big picture here...(esp. in Africa that is) - so it seems. (
