Thank you so much for all your kind words, I have been on this journey for a really long time and yesterday I honestly almost lost my life when I saw what I saw, because it was real and in front of me, and soooo casual. I am surrounded by 'these' folks but I am in the middle of something I can help change and it would be easier to open (my little joke) my shell ear-ring shop or to bake scones, but this is exactly where I'm supposed to be -- because clearly, i'm here.

Thank you for your messages and I will take you up on the suggestions. I was drawn to France a long time ago and obviously I'm steeped in Egypt here !! Big obilisks everywhere hehehehe....but that just didn't seem that real, in the sense that these are historical things and there is a space in my head to say, well it could either be all over, or is somehow removed from reality and explained away. I find myself in what seems to me, quiet an ordinary position, but obviously im being a little naive because most people dont see world leaders or ambassadors or heads of banks etc.. frequently. I am married to a wonderful person who is also quite ordinary but happens to work for one of the most well known newspapers in the world. I meet these people and they are ordinary too. And they are concerned about the terrible situations in the world, genuinely, they have children and they do their job so that they migyt be able to change things for the better.

So these 'other' people are a teeny tiny fraction of even the elite, but they are one or two peppered into all these organisations but i can't see how it would be enough. Everyone else is so pulling in the other direction. Really trying to change everything, even if some of it is misguided. I am glad I'm confused because its the only place to start, but maybe now its easier to see why so confused because these are not mysterious people to me, they are in the office around the corner, so to speak. Don't get it. CONFUSED in PARIS hehehehe
