Sounds like a worthwhile pursuit.
I just want to point out that circumstantial evidence has somehow gotten a bad rap. Circumstantial evidence is actually a very powerful means of establishing motive. It can not be considered absolute "proof" but it certainly is a valid and important form of "evidence" that strengthens ones case.
