Wow. The same California Dept of health site says the death rate is 1.3 people per 100,000. Hardly a nightmare.

Add to that the fact that they cook the books on these statistics, by lumping in people who died of pneumonia, with those who died from flu, and I'd say it's not quite time to run for the hills just yet.
