I actually made a traditional pilsner with henbane...weird stuff, couldn't fathom drinking more than two pints after watching my friend on three! I did try a nice Scottish Ale made with heather, with a lovely label who's name I have forgotten and after 3 pints...a totally different experience than most beers.
At this point living in the Pacific North West...I mainly drink my own blackberry mead. We've bees and blackberries a plenty.
Won't touch unfermented soy with...well...someone else's limp you know what....
