The issues you bring up are of Karma and Free Will.
It is quite simple. Everyone has free will and will have to deal with their own karma.
Judging others can also generate karmic repercussions. Judgement can interfere with another's free will and that will have consequences. Just as one person has free will to be magnanimous, another has free will to be selfish. Interfering with either individual's free will should be avoided.
Bottom line.
Perfect yourself.
